Evgeny Markovsky

Evgeny Markovsky is a Partner in the real estate and construction practice. He advises property owners, tenants and investors on acquisitions, disposals, lease portfolios and development projects.
Before joining the firm, Evgeny was Director of Real Estate at Raiffeisenbank and previously held a senior retail lending role. He managed an annual lease portfolio of approximately RUB 3.5 billion and owned property assets exceeding RUB 30 billion, and worked on property transactions of up to RUB 5.5 billion.
His experience includes Russian- and English-law property transactions, infrastructure projects, banking network restructurings, build-to-suit projects and centralised property decision-making.
Education: Moscow State Open University, civil law specialist degree, 2004; Moscow Pedagogical State University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, 2007; project management training under PMI PMBOK, 2008; Six Sigma Green Belt, 2009.
Languages: Russian and English.
Key experience
- Restructured a major bank’s office portfolio, reducing annual rental costs by RUB 1.1 billion.
- Managed owned property exceeding RUB 30 billion and annual leases of approximately RUB 3.5 billion.
- Supported regional operating centres and a 34,000-square-metre build-to-suit office development.
