Can a foreign investor buy a Russian business?
The answer depends on the investor, ultimate ownership, asset and current restrictions. We assess feasibility before selecting a transaction route.
Do we need FAS approval?
Approval depends on the parties, control and applicable thresholds; it is separate from other foreign investment permissions.
Can we create a joint venture?
Yes, where permitted. Governance, reserved matters, funding and exit mechanisms should be agreed before investment.
Who will manage our matter?
