How it works

Planning estimates only; the timetable is agreed after reviewing your matter and depends on document availability and authority decisions.

01

Document review

We first review the original exit documents, option terms and current ownership.

02

Feasibility assessment

A preliminary route assessment normally takes 1–3 weeks after the relevant documents are supplied.

03

Negotiation and approvals

A matter-specific timetable is agreed; permission and counterparty negotiations may be decisive.

04

Re-entry

We coordinate signing, conditions, registrations and operational governance.

Rules that apply

4 August 2026 legislation

The framework affects foreign investors’ buyback rights and must be reviewed alongside the original transaction and current approval rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does an option guarantee a return?

No. Contractual rights need to be assessed against current law, the asset’s status and the applicable approval framework.

Can a joint venture be an alternative?

It may be, depending on the commercial objective, ownership restrictions and the agreement with the current owner.

How long will re-entry take?

There is no universal timetable. We separate the document review from negotiations and authority decisions and agree a realistic work plan.

Who will manage our matter?

Managing Partner Maksim Korostelev coordinates the engagement and introduces the relevant specialists. We agree reporting, language and responsibilities at the outset.

Can we discuss the matter before sharing documents?

Yes. Book a confidential 30-minute introductory call. We first carry out a conflict check and agree how sensitive information will be exchanged.
