Frequently asked questions

Is a share deal always preferable?

No. Asset perimeter, approvals, liabilities and tax treatment determine whether a share deal, asset deal or alternative structure is suitable.

What discount or budget contribution applies?

Applicable conditions can change and depend on the transaction. We check the current approval framework rather than promise a fixed rate.

Can the purchase price be paid in instalments?

Potentially, subject to approvals, applicable restrictions and bank requirements. Documentation must address security and non-payment.

Can the former owner retain a buyback option?

Options require separate analysis under the current rules, including the 2026 framework; enforceability cannot be assumed.

Who will manage our matter?

Managing Partner Maksim Korostelev coordinates the engagement and introduces the relevant specialists. We agree reporting, language and responsibilities at the outset.

Can we discuss the matter before sharing documents?

Yes. Book a confidential 30-minute introductory call. We first carry out a conflict check and agree how sensitive information will be exchanged.
